Rotala Indica DESCRIPTIONThis green rotala is a favorite of many aquarist specially when paired with red rotalas will give the aquarium a nice contrast. The leaves are green in color on the top and pink on the bottom which are arranged oppositely in perpendicular pairs along the stems. This plant will flower if reaches the top of the water, flowers are pink . It also produces viable seeds if the top of the plant reaches the top of the water. It is considered as breakable plants and it should not be housed with very active or large fish that may damage their fragile stems. Rotala indica can easily propagate in aquarium condition with proper care. Propagation can be done by taking a cutting off of the main plant. REQUIRMENTS CO2 demand: Not Requied.
