A fantastic large and heavy antique Victorian solid 14k gold bloodstone intaglio initial ‘V’ signet ring. This wonderful heavy antique Victorian solid 14k yellow gold signet ring has a fabulous central bevel-set bloodstone plaque of a super dark green color with lovely red fleck inclusions, the bloodstone has been beautifully reversed carved with the initial ‘V’ in old English script, the ring with wide shoulders and a gently graduating band-superb! The ring is unmarked and tests for 14k gold. The ring is approximately a size 8. The ring measures approximately 19mm x 15mm across the face. The bloodstone measures about 14.5mm x 11.5mm. The ring rises about 5mm above the finger and weighs approximately 11.4 grams. The ring is in very good condition with all over general wear to the bloodstone and band.
