Primary Source of Material- 100 % Cotton Canvas Fabric: Our canvas Bell Tents are made from 100% cotton Fabric. Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fiber that grows in a boll, or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants which are drought tolerant and requires very less water to grow. Cotton is the largest natural fiber supplying the global demand for textile products. It is sustainable, renewable, and biodegradable, making it an excellent choice as an environmentally-friendly fiber throughout its entire product life cycle. Most chemical fibers are petroleum based, which means they come from nonrenewable resources. Bell Tent Fabric: It’s made from Grade-A premium Double Fill “Army Duck Canvas” fabric using weightless WR (Water + Mildew) treatment and maintaining the natural breathability of 100% cotton using our proprietary brand of Canvas DYNAGUARD! Using a Silicone based chemical allows us to achieve much higher water repellency as opposed to the traditional wax treatment which adds extra weight and inconsistent water repellency. It comes with a fire retardant finish as well. Our fabrics are tested by an independent lab and bench-marked on every production run to ensure consistency of critical factors such as: Hydrostatic Pressure Head Test Mildew Soil Burial Test Tensile & Tear Strength Color Fastness to Sunlight Double Stitch Reinforcement: All our seams are double stitched, corners are reinforced for added strength. Side Wall & Center Height: The generous spacious design has 2’7” walls and peak height of 9’10” which makes the tent extremely comfortable and space can be utilized from all angles. Groundsheet: Our super durable Regatta Bell Tent features a sewn-in PE groundsheet for those who would rather want their groundsheet attached as it’s easier to set up and less fussy. If you are looking for instant setup, this tent is ideal. It is an added level of waterproofness, a solid wall of defense that keeps your tent clean and in tip-top condition. Easier to clean – just hose or wipe off. Also, will provide insulation against the cold ground. The biggest advantage of having a groundsheet is that it stops condensation, help keep your campsite tidy, make it easy to pack away your tent in muddy or wet conditions, protect the ground and allow it to ‘breathe’ (a requirement in some caravan parks), and even double as an emergency shelter or stretcher. Door: The entrance door is extremely generous with a 6’6″ height which makes this an extremely practical and unique tent. Standard Bug No-See-Um Mesh Door to enjoy the view yet stay protected. Main fabric door has three way zipper, extremely functional tension cord on the door entrance and rain flap to keep water out. The Bell tent includes a no-see-um mesh door in addition to the traditional canvas door which could be neatly tied back when not in use. Windows & Roof vents: There are three large windows with No-See-Um mesh and zipper flap for letting in natural light without losing the heat from your stove, better ventilation and clear view. Three large strategic roof vents with No-See-Um Mesh & Hood to ensure maximum ventilation Pro Guy Lines & Tensioners: Complete with Polyester UV resistant 8 mm Dura rope, proprietary elasticated shock absorber cord system and triangular metal rope tension adjusters that keeps the tent guy points (highest stress point) with extra play in heavy winds. These metal tensioners are made to last as they won’t break or deteriorate from harsh UV rays like typical plastic sliders. Secondary guy points allow to stretch the zipper flap and protect zipper from rain and water penetration. All ropes are pre attached 1/4″ UV resistant Dura Ropes with Triangular Metal Runners. Integrated Mesh Door & Windows: Our bell tents have standard bug mesh door and windows made from high quality No-See-Um Mesh to protect you from bugs and critters that may cause vector borne diseases like Dengue, Malaria or Zika.
